One thing is for certain—if our Christianity is worth having, it is worth sharing! Evangelism and missions is the heartbeat of the church. Without missions, we serve no purpose on earth. The only earthly reason for us being here after we are saved is so that we may tell another. Missions has been described as one beggar telling another where to find bread. Christ’s last command should be our first concern! Too many Christian churches have set aside this single Great Commission of the believer. It has become the Great Omission. We have become distracted from our purpose. The wisest man’s description of a wise man is found in Prov. 11:30—“He that winneth souls is wise.” The only generation that can reach this generation is our generation! We must not forget that every Christian is a missionary!
